·          An innovative science city with a transparent and honest council. Major asset sales and areas of substantial importance would invoke binding referenda.

·          A rate rise within the rate of inflation. This means greater scrutiny of council spending, Council controlled organisations and costly projects. Basic infrastructure will be a priority!

·          Better regional cooperation to deliver savings through shared services.

·          An integrated transport policy with light rail, universal ticketing and cycle safety improvements

·          Protecting our heritage
